Pennsylvania Opioid Prevention Project

About the Toolkit

Too increase awareness and understanding of the opioid epidemic, and to foster meaningful dialogue among young people, families and community members we created a toolkit that contains easy-to-access and timely information about everything you should know about opioids. Education, discussion, role-plays and media-based activities cover topics such as:

  • What Are Opioids?
  • Health Risks and Opioid Use Disorder
  • Talking with Youth, Parents, and Health Care Providers about Opioids
  • Medication Disposal
  • Preventing and Reversing Overdoses
  • Treatment and Resource Directory
